Family asks in-laws to dip hand in hot oil to prove innocence after daughter-in-law goes missing 


A family in Gujarat’s Rapar city asked their daughter-in-law’s family members to dip their hands in boiling hot oil to prove that they did not help her elope.

Members of the daughter-in-law’s family suffered serious burn injuries and are undergoing treatment at a govt hospital.

In a shocking incident, six members of a family were forced to dip their hands in boiling hot oil to prove their innocence in the Rapar area of Gujarat’s Kutch district.

The incident took place when a family accused their daughter-in-law’s family of helping her elope. The family then asked six members of their in-laws’ family to dip their hands in hot oil to prove their innocence.

The six members of the in-laws’ family suffered severe burn injuries and are undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Rapar.

Police have launched an investigation into the matter and booked the accused family.
